At the top end of the market, factory visits have become an accepted part of the buying process. We have privileged access to most European production facilities, including Mclaren, Jaguar, Bentley, Aston Martin, Bugatti and Ferrari, and can usually arrange private visits within 24 hours.

These can be day trips to the facilities, or be tailored to fit in with a client's vacation. The Ferrari factory at Modena is particularly suited to this kind of 'working holiday', being within striking distance of the Italian lakes and Tuscany.

At the end of the visit, you will be the opportunity (should you so wish) to order your own car, with ProDrive MD, Paul Baylis on hand to offer impartial advice on the most suitable configuration and options.

As the delivery date approaches, we often arrange a return visit to the factory, so that our clients can actually see their car being assembled.

Of course, a factory visit isn't compulsory. Online configurators are now very elaborate and extensive, providing an excellent preview of what the finished car will look like. However, with literally thousands of colour combinations and options on offer, choosing the exact specification for your car without sliding into poor taste or superfulous gadgetry can be a tricky business.

With his years of experience in configuring premium vehicles, Paul can help you build your ideal vehicle based on your requirements, taste and budget. His goal is to see you get the car that best suits your needs; he is not affiliated to any manufacturer and does not receive any sort of financial incentive from them.

The final configuration can, of course, be honed with the client at a distance (email and/or telephone), or face to face. Then, once the client has signed off the final specification, ProDrive confirms the build with the manufacturer.

Regular contact between Paul and his clients ensure they are kept informed throughout the manufacturing process.

ProDrive delivers to any address in the world, 365 days a year.
And not just on first delivery (see Cherish)

Taking delivery of your new car can involve a return visit to the factory, a VIP reception at a dealership, or a delivery to the address of your choice by a ProDrive team member.

Personal registration numbers (subject to country of registration) can, of course, also be arranged, as can garage accessories including tailor-made indoor covers, battery conditioners, tyre shoes and air-conditioned dust-proof storage facilities.

Example:

A left-hand-drive Aston Martin DB9 Volante is ordered in February 2011 following a VIP visit to the Aston Martin factory in Warwickshire, to the north west of London, and configuration (options, trim, etc.) finalised with Paul.

The vehicle is then delivered by us to the client's home in the south of France on December 25 the same year. We deal with all local registration documents and insurance issues to ensure an unforgettable Christmas moment.
